From developer to Release Train Engineer.
I’m Debasmita Das, a freelance SAFe Release Train Engineer and PMP-certified program manager based in Munich, with 14+ years in IT. I started out writing code, so I understand the engineering work my trains deliver.
My path
Structure for release trains and programs.
I began my career in 2012 as a Java developer at IBM. Over ten years at Accenture I moved from Salesforce developer and technical lead through business analyst and Scrum Master to Release Train Engineer and delivery lead, working with clients in life sciences, automotive, telecom and manufacturing.
Today I lead an Agile Release Train of around 100 professionals delivering enterprise Quote-to-Cash capabilities on Salesforce and Conga CPQ.
How I work
I bring structure: clear plans, transparent tracking, strong stakeholder communication and risk management. I focus on making delivery predictable and reducing last-minute fire drills.
